A Message from President: Orlo Stitt 

Welcome to our web site. We hope that the time you spend with us is informative and enjoyable.Our Corporate Mission, which is the same now as it was in 1978 when we were founded, is “to provide energy efficient homes that are environmentally responsible, for the health, welfare and happiness of our customers, our employees, our investors and for future generations.” Our mission and purpose evolved from the first passive solar, energy efficient home that my family and I designed and built. This home, which served as a prototype for what we are doing today, was featured on national television during prime time viewing—both in the U. S. and Canada—in 1973 during the Arab Oil Embargo. Since then, our dependence on foreign oil has not decreased, but has gotten more critical with regard to our economy and our national security. 

We are proud of the many local and national awards our homes and our company have received. The EnergyValue Housing awards competition, sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders in cooperation with the U. S. Department of Energy, recognizes the creativity and the work of our employees and the commitment of our customers. Our award winning homes are in various categories and are located in different climate zones.
