Sales Consultant, Homes

If you have the skills and experience to optimize new homes sales, manage our customers’ home buying experience and ensure that the customers’ needs are put first, then this career opportunity is for you! You will be responsible for the conversion of leads/prospects to customers, generating referrals, strategizing with marketing, and building strategic customer and builder relationships to maximize revenue for the organization. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generate leads from customer referrals, web site, and home shows
  • Build rapport and trust so you can assist all prospects as they move through our process
  • Conduct construction open house tours by demonstrating features/benefits, as well as showcase energy efficient options
  • Educate our clients about our history, accomplishments, our process, and how they will benefit from working with us
  • Initiate, schedule, and visit the building sites of our future clients
  • Walk our clients through our design/build process
  • Assist in the preparation of required paperwork for each home sale
  • Sell and close Stitt Homes on a consistent basis
  • Maintain relationships and keep buyers engaged and updated on the progress of their home through the entire design/build process
  • Communicate properly, to the appropriate departments, any customer requests for information or service
  • Strategize with our marketing group to generate traffic and drive new sales
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • MinimumHigh School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • HERS or BPI certification a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License (essential function of this position)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends for client meetings and/or home shows
  • Strong understanding or experience in the residential construction industry
  • 1 year computer proficiency (email, work processing, operations, etc.)
  • Must have exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess a consultative sales approach
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is primarily an active position, which requires the sales consultant to have the ability to walk, stand and climb stairs in/around homes, construction sites and properties. The sales consultant must be able to operate computer equipment, speak clearly, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 40lbs. The ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions is required.
 

Sales Consultant, Building & Solar Systems

You will be responsible for calling on residential and commercial builders, electrical contractors, homeowners, architects, and engineers in an effort to sell our solar systems, building components, and technical services.   • Regularly visit job sites, prospects homes, facilities, and client offices to seek out new sales
